Drinks: RI Monthly Recipes
In December one of my cocktails was featured on the cover of Rhode Island Monthly magazine and three of my original recipes were featured in the cover story. I'd like to give big thanks to Nat Rea for his photos and Angel Tucker for styling. They made the drinks look great. Many thanks go out to Lisa E. Harrison for putting the story together and to my former employer The Waterman Grille— a fine place to dine.
The cover shows my Dill Gin Rickey:
3 sprigs fresh dill
1 lime
2 ounces gin
2 ounces soda water
Place dill in a rocks glass and top with ice. Squeeze the juice of the entire lime into the rocks glass. Add gin and soda then stir lightly. Garnish with a lime slice.
